Our Story

We’ve been contributing to the health and wellness of North Platte, Nebraska since 1971 – only then we were known as the House of Nutrition.

Our humble beginnings started with Clarence and Elsie Watkins. They had a desire to open their private home to the public to sell a small assortment of essential vitamins and supplements.

And when they were ready to change hands in 1985, Judy Lowe answered the call.

The House of Nutrition became the Natural Nutrition House.

As the desire of guiding others down a path of health and wellness grew, so did our variety of all-natural foods, vitamins, supplements, and essential products.

For over 50 years, this small health food and supplements store has become a main-stay to the people of this town and surrounding communities.

From Clarence and Elsie Watkins, to Judy Lowe, and now Camille and Cheyenne, one thing remains constant: Though decades and new generations may come and go, our values and devotion to caring for the health and well-being of our fellow neighbors remains ever-constant.

Let’s face it. The world is filled with uncertainty and shady information.

But no matter what you and your family are facing, we’re here to support you. To provide you with the information you need for your unique health and wellness goals. To give you the essentials needed to live healthy – mind, body and soul.

Like a warm hug from nature, welcome home.

Meet the Women Behind

Natural Nutrition House

Meet Camille.

A wife, mother of 3, and holistic healer originally from Colorado, living in Nebraska.

After gaining fifty pounds and living an unhealthy lifestyle during her first two pregnancies, Camille started exercising and eating better. She educated herself on the importance of living organically and learned about the detriments of food additives.

She got a job at the local Rec Center and began teaching a few exercise classes. She engaged in teaching a yoga fusion class. These few classes would eventually lead her to owning her own business, Camille's Cardio Yoga.

Meet Cheyenne.

A mother of two boys with a passion for gardening and camping.

In her thirties, she got her degree in Business while working in an accounting firm. She developed writing skills while working as a freelance copywriter.

All the while, her thirst for knowledge on health and nutrition grew. She researched online and listened to podcasts almost daily. She tried new things: paleo, keto, vegan, intermittent fasting – learning the pros and cons of each. She tried all forms of exercise, and she listened to her changing body.

A Passion for Helping Our Neighbors – For Helping You.

In August 2022, Camille and Cheyenne bought the Natural Nutrition House. No realtors were involved. Just three women, a loan, and a dream to continue a legacy.

They joined together to support you: the people of their community. Of your community. To grow, nurture, and find solutions to your unique health and wellness goals.

Let’s get you started on the journey to whole-body health.
